Text Box: Giovanni Dri is the founder of the winery that bears his name, now one of Italy’s best known producers of the rare Ramandolo DOCG wines, produced in both the traditional and a late-harvest style. In addition to these Ramandolo wines, and their award winning Picolit, Giovanni Dri IL Roncat produces a full line of dry wines including Sauvignon, Refosco, Cabernet, and two acclaimed red wine blends.

Text Box: Francesco and Marco Mocavero are the latest generation at their family’s winery, located outside Lecce in the Salento. Mocavero are best known for their rich, robust reds including Salice Salentino, Primitivo, and Negramaro. They also offer a ripe and fruity Chardonnay.

Teresa Perusini is the third generation of winemakers and art historians at the estate.  Best known for their white wines—Ribolla Gialla, Pinot Grigio, and Sauvignon — the Perusini Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon are also excellent.  These reds are blended to produce the “Rosso del Postiglione”, the first red wine offered by Perusini (in 1962).
